Where is the WiFi Calling setting?

Using on AT&T and unless I missed something, I cannot find any menu setting for either WiFi calling or voLTE. I don't care as I don't use either one. Perhaps an update later on will add the features for those that care.
I believe that is because the phone is missing band 30 which is required by ATT for WiFi calling - this thread has more info - https://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?t=800428

The phone has Band 12 for TMobile which gives those features.

Don't know much about bands. But can HTC add bands through software updates? I may cancel my order until I'm sure it's worked out with AT&T for WiFi calling. I'm also concerned about Mobile Hotspot too.

This is really disappointing if true. I got rid of my OnePlus 3t in favor of the U11 specifically because an HTC rep guaranteed that the U11 was certified for VoLTE and Wifi Calling.

Here's a transcript of my conversation for the curious

Unless att just haven't announced it yet HTC will not work with wireless calling... The voLTE always works with them but as u said only certain phones work with WiFi calling... Not even all the ones they sell in the stores uses their WiFi calling, for some reason they've limited to The last few LG, Samsungs, and iPhones but who knows maybe they've expanded it... It's about time they did

I would advise you all to start asking the carriers instead of HTC bc they did what it takes for the phone to support carrier features but that doesn't mean the carriers will allow the phones to access it

You're not alone. There was so much misinformation spread about what would work with this phone (especially regarding Verizon) by clueless HTC and carrier reps, that if a certain President were to Tweet about it, it might have one of them there fake news hashtags. :D

What functions (Wifi calling, etc.) will work on the U11 is not any different than what worked on the 10. AT&T will only allow some of their branded phones to use wifi calling. No unlocked phones. You have to go with TMo if you want that. AT&T has always been lame about this. VOLTE works fine on AT&T with HTC 10 and U11.

There seems to be a lot of misinformation based on assumptions. Just because previous modes(A9, 10) worked with AT&T's VoLTE doesn't mean the Next model will, U Ultra case in point. U Ultra does not have VoLTE support from AT&T. Can someone that actually owns a U11, and is activated with AT&T, confirm whether or not you have VoLTE, VoWifi, or both?

That sucks that carriers allow unlocked not branded by them on their network bit cripple them.

If you want all the good stuff you need to be on TMO.

T-Mobile will not sell service in the entire Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I'd switch in a minute if I could. Their $100/mo plan for two lines would save me a lot of money.

I have a shiny new HTC U11 on Verizon, and for the record the U11 supports HD Voice and WiFi calling on the Verizon Wireless network. One of the first things I did when calling another Verizon customer was to ask whether the "HD" indicator was showing on the call screen (it doesn't show on the U11). I have been told that indeed the "HD" indicator is present on calls placed from the U11. Furthermore the U11 (at least mostly) supports WiFi calling. While like the OP I have been unable to find the WiFi Calling Settings screen anywhere on the phone, I disabled Mobile Data and placed a call. Calls go through with Mobile Data off, and the WiFi calling icon shows in the status bar. Even with a WiFi call in progress it appears to be impossible to access the WiFi Calling Settings screen by pulling down the notification bar or similar.

Turning off mobile data doesn't affect making a phone call on the network, just internet access. The test would be to turn on airplane mode, and then turn wifi back on and see if you can make a call.... I tried this on my Sprint U-11 and it works, but there is a wifi calling switch I can turn on...

What mfreeland said. It doesn't do WiFi calling with Verizon. That's not even up for debate.
