Where is this T-Mobile 5.1?

Why won't you guys sideload it? It just seems like if you do not know how to sideload or do anything that require technical skills with your device then nexus isn't really for you.

Why don't you read the OP? This thread is specifically not about flashing or side loading.

T-Mobile.

Well, that's great then that means mine should be coming soon as well. Did you receive the "m"version of the update and have you noticed any differences in performance. I'm mostly concerned that the new bandwidth will bring me a stronger signal into my home.

Awesome thanks for the heads up guys. I just wasn't finding any record of tmobile people getting updated yet.

I did get the M version. I haven't noticed any differences, other than my screen lights up when people call now (like it used to).

Still waiting too. I purchased my N6 direct from Amazon (not marketplace reseller). I moved my sim over from my Nexus 4 and have been up and running for a week now. I'm on Tmobile.

As long as this is not a device from another carrier or region and it is the same T-Mobile-sanctioned model, you should be getting the update in the next few days. But if not, then you'd have to wait until the update for that model becomes available. Furthermore, if it's carrier branded (but non-T-Mo), some carriers enforce that a SIM card from their network is inserted for you to get the update.

Good to know. I'm sure I'll get an update, just not sure which build. Before I powered on my N6 the first time I had my T-Mobile sim inserted and it did install the T-Mobile app. Also it immediately performed an update from 5.0 to 5.0.1.

So let me get this straight? I bought my N6 from Sprint, but since switched my service to T Mobile. Does that mean that even though I have T Mobile and the corresponding SIM card, I may have to wait for the update to hit the Sprint N6? That would be my luck.

Since your phone is from Sprint, you'd have to wait for Sprint to update it, yes. Not T-Mobile. However, I'm not sure if Sprint enforces updates to their network, which would also mean that once the update is available, you'd also need a Sprint SIM Card to get it (AT&T usually does this). Again, not sure if Sprint does that or not, but it's a possibility.

Finally! Woke up and my update was ready to go , I got the M update as well things seem to run smoother so far.

I finally received my update on tmobile and must say that things are definitely smoother. I do not know if band 12 or whatever is activated and it doesn't feel like I'm getting any better reception in my home. The bugginess is gone so far from what I can see, which is monumental! I Will update further as time passes.

I went ahead and did the update via force closing Google Framework, etc. Worked fine. It's only been about ten hours, but so far have not noticed a difference. I even went ahead and did a factory reset. I'm on T Mobile, and received version M.
