Where can I download the firmware 1.28 that originally came with my phone, i downloaded 1.85 and having too much trouble, i need to go back

All available firmware is here http://www.filefactory.com/f/4e1ce47f16313c0d/ but you probably will not be able to go back as a RUU will usually change radios, hboot, etc. *Reason to not jump on board leaked software immediately*

Well, first you should tell us what phone you have. Dual Core or Quad Cord?

Second, for some phones, HTC has said an update was due end of month. You may want to wait for that.
