Wheres the "Beauty face" on the s9+?

The camera sucks on this phone.
I love taking pictures with the beauty face on.
Not just in selfie mode but also on regular mode and this phone takes ugly pics, shows every little imperfection on the face, specially with the flash on!
Help...
Does anyone know if this is gonna get fixed?
I am seriously going to return it if it doesn't.

I think it's a software glitch. There was one other user here with an S9 whose problem was beauty face won't stay disabled. Apparently there's an update coming the next 2.wks

i got an update today, which said stabilizes the camera.. is that the one you are talking about or there's another one?

No. The one I know of includes fix for the fps bug.

I agree the pictures are horrible. The s7 had an option to adjust the skin tone, thus smoothing out the skin. This one, if you press the beauty face it gives you filters no smoothing options, and if you're on selfie mode and you press beauty face, also gives you filters and on the basic one, you have the option to do beauty face but.... There's absolutely no difference, same picture on level 1 or 8. Very disappointing.

1st pic is Samsung s9 second s7... The second has the option to smooth the subject , the s9 has only filters... Sad

I do get it but maybe I'm just getting too old now now I'm approaching 40? Women already get it easier than men having make-up to cover up those imperfections which is absolutely fine but when I see women on Facebook etc with their faces looking like clay and not a line or mark anywhere to be seen I just think to myself "I know what you look like in real life, we all do, just why?"

I am so SOOOOO mad that they junked beauty face. It made editing so easy and I never had to use another pic app to make corrections. This "amazing" new camera is awful. I can literally see every pore on my face. Please tell me someone knows something I'm missing...or if they plan on doing an update. I'm really considering returning it

But that would make it a good camera if its showing that much detail. I'm sure the app store or some editing can add the effects you want.

You can only do beauty face after taking a picture , I got the S9 and you can go to pictures press the 3 little dots on the up right corner and press open in photo editor pro , there you will find portraits face .

Yes but that just makes it more complicated... The s7 had it ready... And what about the back camera.. No beauty face there..

Tap on one of the options and then the pencil icon. It will allow you to adjust a lot of the settings. Plenty of people complained about how Samsung's beauty face erased a lot of details, so this happened. They don't have it auto anymore. You do what you want with the options given.
