So LG made a deal with Amazon to sell the G6+ at a heck of a price (with Amazon advertisement of course) but even the unlocked version is around $700.

LG is trying to make a little bit of noise for the holidays, I understand. Alot of people shop on Amazon and not everyone wants to burn through their holiday budget on many of the $1000 phones. The G6+ is a very good alternative.

I hope we don't have to wait until post-launch of the G7 (March-April) to see Oreo on the G6. And if we did, I wouldn't be surprised.

Security update would be wonderful. Verizon has us stuck on July and it is almost November.

Just bought the 870DS version with 64gb storage and the quad dac. Had 3 system updates and am on October security patch.
