The only one I've encountered for now is Google Messages. What about Messenger and WhatsApp? I've read they support the native chat bubbles but I can't seem to find the option for it. The only option in Messenger are their custom chat heads but I don't see an option for Android's native chat bubbles. Even Facebook's support page mentions that Messenger supports native chat bubbles but I don't see the option in the place they say it should be. For reference, I'm running Samsung's One UI 6/Android 14.

You can find those in your phone's Settings, under Notifications/Advanced settings/Floating notifications
I can't find a list of apps that support it there. Just a setting for it (it's already enabled). In regards to WhatsApp and Messenger, I'm missing the option for bubbles in their own app settings, even though they should be there according to some articles on the web and FB's support page for Messenger.

Because I don't use them and am not clear on just what a "native Android chat bubble" is or how it might be different from other chat bubbles, I can't say for certain they are the same, but FYI, Textra allows chat bubbles.

What I call native chat bubbles is the feature implemented using Android's standardized APIs for this feature. This is in contrast to Messengers old "chat heads" feature (that predates chat bubbles in Android by a decade probably) which was/is in essence the same feature but with a custom implementation.

The only option that provides a list is 'smart pop up'. Bubbles just lets you enable/disable for all supported apps, as far as I know. Since I hate these bubbles I can't confirm if enabling/disabling the 'pop up' option in each app's notification settings would affect this or not, however.
