That illustration appears to imply that Samsung is getting the 'Answers' from Apple. I'd say exactly the opposite.

Oh, let's be honest here. Samsung has gotten plenty of answers from Apple. This past year or so, however, they've been be doing their own studying and it shows. That illustration appears to imply that Samsung is getting the 'Answers' from Apple. I'd say exactly the opposite.

Folks say that the S6 borrows heavily from the iPhone 6. Perhaps. ...but the iPhone 6 appears to borrow heavily from the Samsung Ativ S:

Hmmmm...
...but it appears the Ativ S got some inspirational inspiration itself:

These guys "are inspired" by each other and, to me, that's totally cool and fine. Its just some fan-people and attorneys that it seems to bother.
Okay, okay, I just pulled all that outra my heiny but there seems to be some truth in it.

True. However Apple still has a VERY large and loyal following. They'd have to mess up consistently to budge that following.I get it. Without Ford, there wouldn't be Dodge. Each didn't necessarily learn from one another and innovates/improves some aspect of a car. Without Palm, there wouldn't be Apple. Without Apple, there wouldn't be Google in the smartphone arena.
I could be totally wrong as I am certainly no tech blogger or expert. My sense is the iOS and Android paradigm is somewhat similar to my car analogy. Android, from a OS perspective, took the next logical and evolutionary step that allowed customization and multi-tasking but also took a different direction of more open source making it easier for app developers.
Samsung took what it learned from Apple and began trying to differentiate itself from an ecosystem and hardware perspective. Samsung has pursued a unique and what some would say took a shotgun approach in device development and lacked focus trying to be so much too many different market segments. I believe that, to date, Samsung has taken what it learned form its successes and failures and has taken a more focused approach.
In my opinion, the training wheels came off after the release of the GS3 and the GN3. They got caught napping with the GS4 and GS5 falling into the familiar approach by Apple by introducing incremental improvements expecting that to be accepted as innovation. In the same timeframe, Apple began to feel the heat and appeared to resort to litigation instead of innovation to compete. Apple is slowly changing as well taking a less patrician approach and stepping out of its comfort zone trying their hand at widgets, the beginnings of multi-tasking, larger screen sizes and NFC. If the Cupertino group doesn't adopt a very different culture that is key to true innovation, they will become the RIM of a couple of years ago and may find themselves in a worse spot than RIM. Apple, in some aspects, are a generation or two behind Samsung.

Absolutely.I agree but I think we will see a imperceptible shift that started with the i6 to Android and Samsung specifically begin to grow very slowly. It has been gaining momentum since the GS3.
We will find out in the US on April 11th according to PhoneArenaAbsolutely.

I haven't upgraded from an Iphone 5, i did have a 5s for a short period of time but went back to an iPhone 5 becuase of a software issue that killed my battery. Samsung UI is also becoming like an iPhone but the Stock android software is the best!
Apple products are soooo well designed. I am using an iPhone 5S until my edge is arriving. Compared to the S5, iPhone 5S looks so sexy. I just love looking at, using, and feeling this phone. I really hope I made the right choice by ordering the edge. I'm so excited XD
My wife has my old 5S...while I agree its very sexy and feels great, the screen is just sooooooo small. You must have small hands, I had to give it to my wife after 6 months, my hands are just too big.

And as far as you are concerned they don't make nothing but a Iphone.
But when you get tired of being on a leash and want to break loose and learn a new operating system you are not coming to Android.
I don't think Windows Phone has ANYTHING that Android desires. Please tell me the Android never goes to A Windows operating phone.
I really hate windows system and how the windows phones operate.
And I will defiantly leave the phone I have that uses it.
