Trade-ins help. Sometimes it's just paying off part of installment plan. But yes being a phoneaholic can rack up a bill.

So I assume many here had the s8 Plus, then the Note 8 then the S9 Plus and then the Note 9. That's a sh** load of money to spend on phones. I skipped the S9 Plus and glad I did. Note 9 was worth the wait and not spending the money on the s9 plus.

I'd certainly support the recommendation to visit your high street store to play around with the retail models to get a feel on which would be the best for your uses.
So would you say the S9+ is about the same SOT and standby time than the Note 9? Me, I was thinking about going for the Note 9 for the bigger battery alone, but if they're close then I'll go to the S9+.
Sprint had a great deal for the Note9 - $0 down and $20.81 per month and you can upgrade when the Note10 comes out. There are yearly upgrade plans available from T-mobile & Sprint (not sure about the other 2 carriers in the US).
