Which size

I was using around 28 GB on my S5. So, went with the 64 GB variant of 6P.
Lack of services like Google Play Music, Spotify etc and relatively high cost of data coupled with unstable network forces me to save media files locally.

I just stream Google play music and I'm good to go. As far as unstable networks, usually I've got good / excellent network coverage.

I got the 64 GB. 32 GB would be tight for me as I store quite a bit of music on the device for offline playback (use GPMAA & Spotify streaming as well). Currently, I'm using 23 GB and that's after I cleaned up apps and other docs.

I wish Google brought back SD card expansion.

64gb for me. It was discounted when I signed up for Google Fi so figured the extra $50 was worth it. I doubt if I'll come close to using it but better to have and not use than run short.

So I just called best buy back and asked them the question of I could order the 64 gig version if the phone and do a phone for phone swap when the other version arrives. They said I'd have to return this phone , then wait. I really can't go back to the older Nexus 6 because the battery is just too unreliable. I mean I don't really need that much space like I said due to unlimited data and heavily relying on the cloud ,and my external hard drive. I just can't wait to get my case and holster in. I ordered the Red cruzerlite case so that'll make the phone look android awesome!

We'll see that's a question I'd ask them I would have to return my phone now go back to my old phone and then order to the new phone I'm going to stick with that current 32 gig Nexus 6p like I said rely heavily on the cloud on the data and the fact that I had 9 gigs of storage left on my Nexus 6 when I was done with it.

You can return it. And you can just order the new one. No questions asked if it's a return and the product is in like new condition.

What best buy said is the fact that I would have to return the current phone and then order the new phone.

No, just order it online and have it shipped to the store. Pick it up and return the other the same time. Keep the 32gb until it arrives.

I get the biggest I can afford (or sometimes CAN'T afford). My iPad is a 128gb model as is my 6P. I'd rather have too much storage than not enough.

I know trust me I hear that as well. I mean it's always good to have more than less but I'm also being realistic about the money to even know there was a sale from Best Buy.

Touche. No worries With that much storage indeed. I mean I love my 32 gig phone here though.

I don't think we need as much storage on phones these days. I stream all my music and video. All my photos are on Google Photos. Documents in my Drive. Other than apps I don't have a need to store anything on my phone. The cloud takes care of most things just fine for me right now.

I fully agree with everything you just said..that's my point as well!

I agree but you don't want the minimum either. You want enough that it is a non issue.

Agreed. I'd probably get the 64 gig phone if I did actually run-out of storage space on my older Nexus 6. That's for sure. Like I said. I had about 9 gigs left.

I only download what I'm wanting to listen to for music and then stream the rest if I want something different. Honestly being married with kids my music preference seldom gets any air time so now my listening is a few hours a week at work while doing reports. Otherwise all I do is take pics and video and I back them up locally and Google photos so spending more for storage that I'll likely never use is a waste of money to me.

This is why they have three tiers. Small, Medium and Large to accommodate everybody.

I got the 64GB version. I'm firmly in the camp of buying one size larger than you expect that you need. Remember having extra, unused, space doesn't hurt your use of the phone, running out of space does. Things change and you might find you want/need more space.
