Im stuck between these phones:

1. Samsung Note 4
2. LG G4 (really into this but heard bout the bootloop thingy)
3. LG nexus 5x
4. Asus Zenfone 2

I would like a decent battery life, easy charging and easy to handle phone. Im not an avid gamers but I do watch a lot of youtube and browsing. If u have any phone that can capacitate the usage, its fairly welcome.

I have had the 5x and you can use it one handed. It is kind of a tall phone though. I can't imagine doing the same for your other options though, Zenfone aside. I don't know much about them to have a solid opinion.

1) Biggest of the 4, still a pretty capable device though. I've never owned one so its hard to give an opinion
2) The bootloop issue affected devices manufactured prior to August 2015, as far as I know... later units had the design flaw addressed. Very nice phone, VERY easy to hold even though it's 5.5". Great camera, nice display... my wife had one for a bit and it served her well.
3) I have a 5X, but I haven't had a lot of time to futz with it. Since they addressed the on-launch software issues, it does run really well though. It's the backup to my 6P, if that was ever to go south (I picked it up when Fi had that crazy discount).
4) People I know that had one of those liked it, but with Intel abandoning the platform, ASUS might also abandon that phone a bit, so getting new updates on it might be tough. Personally, I would avoid it based on that.

Of the four, I'm kind of partial to the Nexus, but that's just me....I don't have a lot of patience with the OEM phones.... Their software always ads a bit of heft to things and it's anyone's guess on how often or how long you'll get OS and security updates. Google will keep the 5X up to date until Fall of 2018 and you aren't going to get that with any of the other three.... you'll be lucky to see them kept current through the end of this year, never mind two years from now.

Between 5x and g4, any concern on its battery and charging performance? Did the g4 have been updated to marshmallow 6.0? If yes, any fuss on its performance?

Neither phone will win endurance awards. If you hammered on the camera a lot, it'd get through a charge fairly quick. But everyone's battery experience differs.... usage, what you have running and installed, the network you are on and how good a signal you get, etc. I know that when my wife had her G4, my 6P did a fair bit better. But the G4 also has a removable battery, so if you have a spare, a fully charged battery is a minute away.

As for performance... the 5.X versions of the G4 software were a little janky. The 6.0 udpate (which it did get some months back) certainly smoothed out the performance a fair amount.

If you can find a G4 at a good price, I would be the last one to discourage you from getting it... as long as you get one that is post the motherboard fix. All things being equal, if you put both phones in front of me and asked me which one I would choose to use on a daily basis, I really couldn't go wrong with either one.

Does nexus 5x had the notification drop down bar like other phone?

In my own personal opinion, if someone offered me any of these phones to buy, I'd get the G4; then the 5X. The bootloop problems you speak of should only be limited to specific serial numbers of LG G4 models, as far as I know. But what phone is subjectively "better" really depends on the user, their phone usage history, and what they are looking for in cellular devices.

I liked the G4 before MM, after it's junk. Now my wifi doesn't work. Gotta chew up data until the Note 7 comes out, I'll either get that one or the Note 4 if the Note 7 disappoints.

After a year with the G4 I'm done.

Really? Wifi doesnt work after the update, thats awful, was it only you who facing this kind of problem?

I don't think it's systemic... before I switching my wife's out, her G4 got the 6.0 update and it actually ran quite nice.. it got rid of a little bit of the jank that it had running 5 and battery performance improved a smidge.

I guess I wasn't clear, this didn't happen immediately after MM, it happened yesterday and it's just a long line of performance issues I've experienced with this phone since the update. I don't know if the wifi issue is MM related or not, I suspect not. There were plenty on the G4 forums that had a bad experience with MM, it's pretty sad actually.

Personally am not happy with my g4, battery life is rough and it gets very hot easily.

I am using my old note 3 right now because I prefer it.

Been using a Note 4 since global launch day in 2014, still thoroughly enjoying it!

In Android 6.0.1 its got even faster and a whole lot smoother. Battery life is very good, I can get a full day of moderate usage.

The Camera remains up to par with best, it also has OIS. One of the 1st phones with Fast Charging with 50% in 30mins.

Display is still one of the best on a mobile (large and high density) also quite bright.

SPen Suite has been updated to Note5 SPen Suite with lock screen Note taking in Android M.

Overall a great phone, it feels more like a do-it-all tool, Swiss Army Knife of smartphones, even having an Infrared Blaster, Heart Rate Monitor and SpO2 Sensor, UV sensor etc...

With all that hardware packed in, its not without its issues e.g. for some the GPS can be a bit weak and slow to find satellites, the Finger Print Scanner can be Hit Or Miss, Bluetooth Audio streaming can cause some skipping and TouchWiz UI is not for everyone as it is jam packed!

I'd prefer the G4, but I really like the removable battery! - Though the phone does get hot

They all get hot when pushed. AC did an article on the top phones and shot them all with an IR camera, they're all the same...push the processor and it heats up.

I had the G4 and did not think it was any hotter or cooler than anything else I've owned.
