Which would you prefer? Water resistant or replaceable battery?

I use my Note in the kitchen CONSTANTLY, while cooking. I'm excited for water resistance...

Think about all the photos bear pools and beaches that we'll see now. #joy

I love the replaceable battery but definitely water resistance

I work in the Medical field servicing radiology equipment and I can't tell you how many times in the last 5 years an X-Ray Technologist or a Nurse has come running into a room I was working in with a dripping (usually iPhone) that had just fallen out of her scrub pants into the toilet, crying "can you open this and dry it out for me please, please... it cost me a ton of money and I have a ton of texts and emails on it and..." - that's it! I say waterproof, for EVERYONE!

With that said, it's not going to come back, people need to move on.

Not with that attitude lol.

As someone else mentioned, the Galaxy S5 has a removable battery and it is also water resistant. So I vote to keep both.

Smartphone tech is plateauing so the sealed battery is simply insurance for the manufacturers. They need to find ways to insure a consistent returning customer and this is part of their solution.

Water resistant, don't care about removable battery as I never used them even when it was an option. Sure it may come in handy during some rare occasion but with quick charging removable battery is dead for me completely.

Water resistant, as I've never had a need for a removable battery.
I live in Florida and you're always getting caught in the rain.

As I've yet to lose a phone to 'drowning' in 16+ years having had 30+ phones please make my battery removable.

Definitely Battery. I don't care what people say, but battery packs and battery cases are no where near as convenient as swappable batteries.

Water resistance for sure. I love the removable battery on my Note 4, but I will always take the option that makes the phone as durable as possible. Removing the battery is an awesome feature, but I can always buy any number of juice packs, the official battery pack from Samsung, etc..

Waterproof cases are hard to find for anything other than iPhones, and when you do find them, they're $100. Or you can get the cheaper ones that muffle speaker sound or simply fail the water resistance tests. I'd much rather buy a battery pack or something.

I've never dropped my phone in water like a lot of people have said, but I love knowing that I don't have to worry about it if it ever happens. It only has to happen once....

Water resistance. No more running for cover as soon as it rains. No more near heart attacks when I spill water on the table during dinner or when placing the phone on the sink while I wash my hands.

Removable battery is great also, but I manage pretty easily to get through my day on one charge on my S7e.

I guess since I'm switching from LG V10 to the N7, I'll vote water resistance. I've been a big fan of swappable batteries the past few years so we'll see how this works out. I haven't swapped batteries for a few weeks however, so mentally maybe I'm prepping myself.

We don't know what the V20 is doing

Rain doesn't kill a phone

For me, it's easy. Removeable battery.

Never in twenty three years with mobile phones have I ever dropped it in any type of water, and I'm out in the elements a lot.

I carry my Note 5 in a leather belt holster and when it rains while running, so what! I just move my shirt over the holster case and sometimes I don't. Never any damage.
