Is it better in person? I've only seen pictures of it and while it doesn't look bad, it just isn't what I was hoping for. I'm still picking one up Sunday.

I love it in person. I am a bit partial to white phones though.

I am as well, that's why I've waited this long. My friend who works for Sprint told me they were supposed to announce it today, but we're still waiting. Have you heard anything?

I can't wait to laugh at sprint employees when they see me in there again asking for that make believe phone they say was not being released they gonna look mad dumb on Sunday

I got my white EVO on Friday because my Sprint store here in south GA had already gotten their delivery! It is so sweet, too!

We have them in our stores. We got them a few days ago. We can't sell them until tomorrow though.

The store in Olympia,WA has been selling these since Friday. I really doubt anyone lost their job over this, I'm going to call complete BS. They were selling them left and right when I got mine. It looks good doesn't it?

I highly doubt anyone will get fired over selling an alternative color option. It would be one thing if the EVO LTE wasn't released yet and they were selling it. This actually happens often.

As a over 10yr sprint user that switched to at&t and has their white OneX and white Note, that white EVO is very nice...!!!! lol

Yes. It is in the contract they signed when they were hired on. I also sent an email to each of my employees stating that they couldn't sell it until today's date. Along with that the phones were in a box in the back with a big sign on it saying to not sell the phones until today's date. I couldn't have made it more clear. So I fired the person.

That's crazy with all of that, they would still risk and sell it anyway? Why? Just to make a sale?

Seems a little extreme to fire someone over a different color phone. If it was a new phone launch maybe I could see it, but not for a new color.

Some people are greedy and want the commission. What little he made from it was not worth losing his job over.

It doesn't matter. A street date is a street date. It is something we have to follow. It isn't extreme. They all know the deal and what can be done to the store and to their job if they sell the phone early. And when you get emails, have signed a contract and there is a huge sign on the box that you can't miss yet you still ignore it, it isn't extreme.
