Yeah, it's regional right now. Importing from the UK might get you an unlocked white front.

I was interested in a white front as well so I contacted HTC customer service and they said that while they do sell the white front version in another region they are not currently selling them here in the US. However, there is a reputable, well established seller on eBay that is currently selling the unlocked gold and silver ones with the white fronts (item # 131799897461 ) I contacted them to inquire and they confirmed that they are the international version. Here is what they said in response to my questions:
"Greetings,
Yes we have the one with the white front, this is a factory unlocked international version, there is no specific difference between the 2 versions, only country of Manufacturer."
If I hadn't of ordered one already I would have considered purchasing that one HOWEVER I would definitely ask whether the warranty would apply.

Sounds sketchy. HTC treats each market different. Ebay makes little effort to regulate scams (the seller who sold me a phony 200gb SD is still selling them and duping others) so you can't trust feedback or anything like that. This seller may not be authorized to sell in the US. Call HTC to find out.
Also, for them to say the "country of manufacturer" is different sounds incorrect.

In U.S. we only have the black and the silver back black front version. In Taiwan they have silver back anger front, black and red versions.

Hey there, i have digged a bit for TW and China models...
Both TW and China have silver and gold models with white front.

TW has 32GB rom and 64 GB rom versions. 4GB RAM, Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 820
The 32GB rom version is about 700USD, 64GB rom version is ~760 USD.
Network support is different:

• 2G/2.5G - GSM/GPRS/EDGE
• 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
• 3G UMTS
• 850/900/1900/2100 MHz
• 4G LTE (Upto 450Mbps)
• FDD：1、3、5、7、8、20、28、32 Band [no band 2 ,4, 12, 13, 17, 29, 30 compared to US/CA]
• TDD：38、40、41 Band

TW version looks similar to the versions in north america it seems.


China version is apparently BAD , 64 GB version only.
But way cheaper: 3,799.00 RMB = ~ 580 USD
Different CPU: MSM8976, probably called Snapdragon 620,
RAM: 3GB

Seller is LYING. LTE bands are different. Don't be fooled.
