Ordered two 32GB Blue and one 32GB White today for the family plan members in my household that can actually handle a smartphone somewhat. ;)

It would be Blue. I remember when Blue & Silver were VZW's primary colors for their phones. So tired of the Droid Red/Black color scheme. It's depressing.

I'm surprised at&t was getting a red version seeing how red is Verizon's color and with the whole droid branding. I think a dark red on Verizon would have looked nice.

So what does the color of a phone really mean? I mean, does the phone change somehow if it's blue instead of white, or vice versa? It's just a color. Do you want the phone for what it can do, or do you want the phone for it's color? Just sayin.

And this reply wasn't directed toward anyone in particular.

Oh brother. Those of us excited about our POs can't chat about which color scheme we prefer? Just sayin'.

Anyways, had to go with white! Looks super sleek and I challenge anyone to find a case that will look bad on it! ;)

Every time I go back and look at the device, it keeps looking better and better...

I really wanted the blue, but read two reviews that said the white is really impressive in person and the blue looks more like slate gray. Then I called my local store and she said she'd seen the white in person and she was really amazed by the look of the white (which is supposed to have silver undertones in it). So since everything I read said the white looked so much better than the blue I went with white. Check out the reviews...

I got the white one the blue looked more like purple to me ,either way it will be in a slim case so the color wasnt a major factor.

Your post yesterday had me second guessing myself all day. I ended up cancelling it and ordering the white one lol

My issue with the white one has to do with the review comments about how the white bezel was bothersome when using the phone in direct sunlight.

I tend to use my phone a fair bit in bright daylight and I need all the legibility I can get.

The blue color changes depending on the light from the looks of it on YouTube. Sometimes it looks like gunmetal, sometimes it looks full on blue. I kinda like it. I was thinking about the white, but it will get dirty and also the reflection is a issue

Gunmetal would be sweet. I'd like to see it in person if this blue does have that color.

Suppose it's a good thing the other carriers are getting it first. Should be able to go in and check both colors out before Verizon even ships.

I like the polarbear white color but the color change powers of the metallic blue make it too cool to pass up.

It was also mentioned on the podcast that the blue is a scratch/fingerprint magnet.
