Who can establish a connection between galaxy watch and iPhone xr?

I cannot get the galaxy watch app on my iPhone xr to connect with the galaxy app store. Each time I try the app gets stuck. No downloads possible, watchfaces nor apps.
Samsung does not respond to this matter.
