Who can track a stolen phone by the IMEI number

Hi,

I ordered a sim free HTC M9 from currys.co.uk which the delivery driver apparently left in the communal area of my flat. I did not give permission for them to leave it outside there. The phone has now been stolen and currys are saying they can't do anything!

I was wondering if currys can track this phone with the IMEI number? They say they can't do anything but I haven't signed for anything. I'm i entitled to a refund

Welcome to the forums. I am not sure they can track it. However, I am inclined to agree they either need to send you another phone, or refund your money.

Im not sure who you used to ship it with but double check the paperwork. If it indeed was left, and the option for signature was requested, and you do not have a waiver for signature on file (some people, business, places do have this on file) then its the carrier who is at fault and they are the one to settle. File a claim with them..
IF currys sent it and didnt opt for signature then they are at fault. Again, you need to check with the shipping company to verify.
Also theft is theft, so start the paperwork with the police to prove you didnt get it.
