I was going to put motorola up on the list of options, but I don't really think there is a chance they will be making the next nexus phone. Maybe the one after, but not the upcoming one.

I would like the see one by motorola though, I've never owned a motorola phone and have absolutely no experience with one. But, now that they are owned by google and google has decided that they will be focusing on quality not quantity, I can see good things happening with the partnership in the future.

What I would like to see is Sony to make the next nexus.

I agree. I have no experience with Motorola phones in the past, but it would be interesting to see what they develop with Google running the show.

So my votes would be for:
- Samsung
- Motorola
- HTC

I'm for Sony or HTC getting a shot. Samsung has had more than enough chances to get things right; it's time for some new blood and design sensibilities.

I won't be able to get a new phone for a couple months but the anticipation of waiting on the next nexus is killing me..

I agree with several of the folks in here; HTC or Sony. With my Rez running better than ever with the current and upcoming flock of roms, kernels etc. I have all the patience in the world. Even though the cpu/gpu isn't top of the line anymore, it's screen, camera, audio, reception and call quality are still top notch. Considering it came out before nearly all the other "superphones" I have faith that HTC can create another device that in some ways is ahead of its time. If the rumors about the 5in 1080p device are true we're in for a treat. Though I do hope that whether it's HTC or Sony, that they both learn from Sammy & Moto regarding one thing: battery, battery, battery. I don't care how..make it big, light, and last forever. While I am now quite happy with my current battery life after tweaking, rooting the heck out of the device..I shouldn't have to do that. Not to mention the average consumer would have no clue how to.
