Who else is looking forward to the announcement of the next Moto? I know I am. I am curious about the screen size mainly. I would like to see a top tier phone with a sub 5" display. I honestly miss the size of the 2013 MX.

I'm a big Moto fan and keep buying their phones. I hope the camera is better and it has a bigger battery than the current X and leave the OS the same.

I'm definitely interested! I currently have a 2013 Moto X. I'm looking to get either a 2015 Moto X or a 2015 Nexus.

The main consideration for me is size. I don't want a device that is bigger than 5".

Any devices with AMOLED displays are welcome. Apart from Samsungs, which I personally find unusable because of the layout of their screen nav buttons, there aren't many. Go Moto! :)

If Moto is going to release a phone this summer, the announcement should be soon. I am really excited to see what they put into it. Hopefully the 808 Snapdrgon.

i'd probably pick one up if they have a decent battery in it this time, i had a 2013 moto x and really enjoyed the experience, but the battery life was just a bit short of my needs, so i ended up with a note 4 towards the end of last year which has been great for battery, but i do miss the stock android experience.

I'm coming to the realization that screen size won't be that important to me. The Galaxy S6 and LG G4 take fantastic photos. I will judge the next Moto X on it's camera.

Put some new updated guts and a better camera in the 2014 X and I'd be happy. For me the style and feel is perfect.

Needs a real camera, would love qi charging. I still love the design and build quality of the Moto X. If i have to pay more for a better a camera a qi, so be it. But please continue to offer the pure edition.

I highly doubt either will be smaller than 5.2

I would personally hope for a 4.9" phone. A compromise if you will on the 2013, and the 2014.

Imagine that. A new version of the X 2013, with better battery life and maybe dual SIM. Just dreaming :)

I am, I wasn't paying too much attention and ordered the Moto X 2014 but after I got it I realized it was going to be announced on Tuesday and with any luck launched quickly after that. So my Moto X 2014 is going back tomorrow and I will happily wait for the 3rd Gen to hit.

1) improved camera and 2) bigger battery and the same UX as 2014 and I'm sold

5.5" 1440p display 3500+ mAh with front facing speakers would be ideal

it would be nice if they made a compact version for the people that prefer a smaller display, but I don't see that happening. more important than display size is the overall size of the phone. I think people tend to lose sight of that and hopefully the renders we saw last week of the larger display with ultra thin bezels proves to be accurate.

Better battery life, brighter screen, and better camera and I'll be in for one. If not then it's off to spend my money on a competitor.

Its larger than the note 4 and has a smaller screen, even though it has on screen buttons. I'm excited to see the entire device and specs but am fully expecting compromises.
