Anyone else purchase both the Flip 3 and Fold 3?

Are you keeping both?

I have both for now and like them both.

I’m waiting on my Flip 3 order …white is scheduled end of this month …how are you using them ? Are you switching between days?

Just got the Flip today. Target price matched the Best Buy Tmobile for 799 plus I received 200 gift card, I couldn't resist. I swapped out sim and will swap back and forth. I have 14 days to decide to keep Flip

Ah nice …I’m planning on sim swapping too but will probably run with the Z Flip a week or more at the start to run it though the paces …

I’ve been contemplating for two weeks about trading in my iPhone to Samsung shop for 650 off the price of the flip 256gb . I already have the fold 3 . But I have two lines one with Verizon and 1 with Tmobile . The Tmobile is the 55 plus magnenta plus get the 2nd line at a discount. So still thinking

I got the Fold 3 now and my Flip 3 will be delivered tomorrow. I don't know which one I'm keeping yet.

As far is the Fold 3 goes, My only cons is its bulkiness and its price tag. Everything else, I'm good with. The Camera is ok. Battery life is good and it has 256GB storage. The best part is when you unfold it and people be shocked lol.

I having folded and pulled it out in front of a friend of mine. He thought it had an extended battery pack on it until I unfolded it. He was shocked and gave it props lol.

I plan on running the flip through some trial runs as it gets delivered tomorrow.

You all must be single, lol.

My wife and I make a very comfortable living, with quite a bit of disposable income... but my god... if I tried to spend three THOUSAND dollars, (after tax), on a couple of phones, (technically 2x phones and a tablet I suppose) ... she'd gut me like a fish, and leave me by the side of the road, lol.

I don’t have a wife but I’ve learned from past experiences of ya get something for you then she gets something …expensive indeed …haha

If I’m buying stuff now I don’t have to answer to anyone but I still like money in when money out …so I will sell phones or sneakers to make up the new toys incoming hehe

I'm married, been mar;ried for and just had our 16th year anniversary a few days ago. I will be upgrading my wife's phone in the next 2 weeks probably. I got to keep her happy too :)

I got the Fold 3 through my carrier and just had to pay taxes. I got the Flip 3 through samsung to try out for 21 days. If I like it,which I do so far... I just have to pay $300 or something like that. The Fold 3 just doesn't justify that huge price tag for me. Its nothing amazing other than it can open into a small tablet. Other than that, it's ok.

The Flip 3 is Unlocked, it's compact, camera is good a lot cheaper than the Fold 3..and most of all, at least to me, looks more stylish too. Im contacting my carrier to set up the return for my Fold as soon as my stuff finish transferring over.

My husband would NEVER do this, not on our income. But I suppose if you got the bucks ... just don't do it without letting your spouse know is my suggestion.

...well. my other half and I have separate phone bills. I'm on AT&T and she's on Sprint/T-Mobile. I am a multi-phone nut and she's happy with her iPhone Pro Max. I say all that to say...if I want 2x Fold 3's and an S21+ as a kick-around sacrificial lamb...I'm not spending her money, just what I worked for. It would be hard for me to have to ask or negotiate my purchases.

...but I get that with marriage there are often...restraints.

I really do NOT want the Fold. It seems to me you could accomplish the same thing by putting two like phones faces together and with a few strips of heavy duty tape, VIOLA Fold Phone. Voila foldable phone to tablet and it wouldn't cost nearly as much long as you didn't use flagship phones.

The Fold is not a NEED type of device. It's just a neat niche product (although Sammy doesn't want us to think that). I will admit that being able to open the screen and get a much larger canvas is nice but it's a luxury for sure and one that comes with compromises. I can certainly see why some would not be attracted to it but I'm still in the honeymoon phase with mine.
