In laymens terms they are the same chip but the 4460 is/can be clocked higher.

i intend to be first in the pre-order line. in January i began researching smartphones, as my NE2 was going to be up in February. having used an i*od touch for music, email and web browsing, i am somewhat familiar with the software. not terribly impressed. i like the idea of customizing my phone. having done a fair bit of research, i decided i'm going to give Moto a try. seems as though most people say their build quality is superior, and their radio technology is pretty awesome. and i want as much future-proofing as can be had in such a fast-paced industry. whenever i buy something, it will be driven hard until the wheels fall off, and it sounds as though Moto products will hold up.

The performance is the same, so they will be able to be clocked the same. The difference is that one will run hotter and require more power to run at higher clocked levels. I bet we'll see the 4460 clocked stock at 1.2GHz, though. At least in phones.

I'm pre-ordering the first opportunity I have...site un-seen. I know I'll love it (and it's display), because I've already decided that I do. That's how it works. It's a simple choice. You choose to like all the greatness and ignore whatever is not you own idea of perfect, or you choose to focus on whatever negative you want to find. It's been a while since I had a phone mailed to me, doesn't Verizon require that someone sign for it. Just asking because it would suck to get home and instead of a shiny new phone you get a slip of paper saying they tried to deliver and they will try again whenever they feel like it!

Ahh the spoils of youth...my mom would sign for mine ahahaha. I'm totally going to try to pre-order it first day. I'll be in school though, so that wait will seem even longer than just sitting here during summer waiting for this phone to come out lol. Then again...this is my last summer before college, so I really do need to find something to do XD.
