Who Ordered an HTC One (and which One)?

Because some people are using upgrades to get their Ones. But if you're paying full retail, then the developer model or the unlocked model makes a lot more sense.

Exactly. If you don't mind the contract then getting through AT&T is obviously cheaper. If you cannot upgrade and have to pay full price, then the unlocked or dev. unlocked is a no brainer

Developer Edition (Silver 64 GB). I'm going to use this on both T-Mobile (1900 in Chicago) and StraightTalk (AT&T MVNO). If T-Mo gets the 64 GB model in a few months AND they really will SIM unlock it if I pay full price up front, I might swap out for that later to get 3G AWS coverage. We'll see how it goes with the Dev Edition first, I'm thinking the big brains on XDA may figure out a way to unlock 3G AWS and add dual channel HSPA+ on the Dev Ed phone in short order

I ordered 2. A dev and unlocked one. One of them is most likely going back but not 100% sure. Most likely ill keep the dev though. I'm on prepaid and this freedom of getting any device I want is awesome.

I've been on the phone today with customer service working on an early upgrade. What's funny is she said all they have in the system is the Sliver 64gb for 399.99 and that I couldnt preorder it because of the early upgrade change, so she will be calling me on the 16th to order and ship it to my house. The system must not be updated as 399.99 isn't right.

Here's why I have 2: I originally ordered the T-Mobile version. And then maybe 2 hours after I found out about the unlocked one. It wasn't apparent and someone posted the link here. So I ordered it because of the price. I was going to hold off on cancelling the T-Mobile one but I figured I keep them both on order in case they run short of 1 model. So then T-Mobile one updated to backorder and I had them change to the dev version.

So I basically have both orders in case they have a shortage on either. If they have a shortage on both then I'm screwed lol.
