I'm rockin' the device naked until my Otterbox comes in. I hope the Defender doesn't change the feel too much. I have moments of clumsiness, so a good case is a must have for me.

I too got the Incipio case for my Nexus. Most screen protectors do a good job but messes up the videos and makes everything look unclear. If I can find the ones I put on my Droid which were clear I'll put them on the Nexus. Best to put some protection on.

I went ahead and ordered a black incipio feather case .... looks real sharp. On incipios website the Samsung Galaxy Nexus doesn't specify Verizons model or the GSM....hopefully it will work with both.

I submitted a question to incipio to see if the feather works with the extended battery and case. I think the black case would look pretty slick with the all black screen and make the device a little more slip proof.

I actually bought some noise cancellation headphones from Best Buy and it had a little pouch inside. I figured it was the perfect size for my GN so I decided to skip on getting a case.

Look for a pouch for eyeglasses. I used to use one with my OG Droid, but I realized how much I was taking it in and out of my pocket and stopped using it.

I'm going without a case for now. I've never liked using a case and always buy the insurance in case something happens.

Go into the Verizon store and say you watch to purchase the case and the extended battery, ask to see if it fits the phone first though.
