LOL that made a great visual. That was the one thing I was concerned about. I have mostly carpet but that tile in my kitchen makes me a bit weary with the bigger screen and more room for vibration travel when a drop occurs.

LOL Yeah, and it seemed like it was all in slow motion. I had to sit down and get my nerves together. Now I don't take it in the kitchen any more.

Based on posts of the phone looking great naked, I only ordered a bumper guard from eBay. We'll see how well that goes. If not, I really like the yellow speigen neo case I see. I usually sport otterbox on my S3. I get my Note 3 tomorrow.

I bought a cheap case on Amazon, hated it. Bought the s-view today at the at&t store and it is great. It's like not having a case at all. The fit and finish is perfect. It's pricey but worth it.

I just can't help loving how it feels bareback. I never thought while holding my note 2 that it was bulky, but comparing it to the 3, the 2 feels like the ThunderBolt.

The N3 feels amazing as is. I know people say they are Careful, but I really am rediculasly careful (knock on wood).
I had an O.B. for my bionic, but stopped using it after a month. went naked for 23 months... scratchless.

It would be a tragedy to cover such an awesome phone

I bought mine using the Sprint one up program so I have the hybrid neo on order and the tempered glass screen protector. Should get in at the end of the month. Until then I am being very careful not to damage it.

I'm using my neo hybrid slate color when I'm on the job, as my hands are always oily and messy and everything in near is dirty and covered in soot. But I keep the case in my truck, and it goes on at 8 and comes off at 430. My condo is all carpet and only tile in the kitchen and bath, so I just am very mindful in the kitchen. I gave up on otterbox, their quality is great but for anything bigger than an s series it makes it uncomfortable to carry casually even at work.

As a matter of practicality, I made sure I used this phone with a case before I brought it out to the world. I left the new phone plastic on while I set it up until the screen protector came and got a temp case until my wallet case came. I am all about keeping this phone near mint with little to no cosmetic damage, just like I did with the Note 2 I had.

No chance I'm putting a case on this. Feels too nice, plus putting a case on it would increase the size too much for my liking.

Got mine on a death grip since last week. Waiting on case from Spigen that won't get here till Wednesday. No cases that I like in town or way overpriced for how bulky they are.

I haven't used a case since I got it but I have the Spigen Neo Hybrid on the way along with an iloome glass screen protector. I already got a tiny knick on the silver trim on the top right side of my phone from not using a case. It's really hard to see but I would prefer to not get anymore of those. I baby my phone and rarely ever drop them.

What I did/do is this. Before I ordered the phone, I order a couple cheap cases off Ebay. Also, I ordered the Spigen tempered Slim'r, I had to preorder. So, little scared to go naked, so I have the cheap copy cases on, along with a cheap screen cover, all in a cheap folding case with a belt clip. I have the Spigen glass and case on the way..Even the cheap protection is good. I can throw my Note 3 out a second floor window on to the cement, and I am sure it would survive easily. IMO, phones are costing too much these day and they really look too good to exposed them to the elements, and the possibility of a drop/fall.
