who's going naked?

To be honest guys, I just didn't like the extra bulk it added also. I might get the official case to see how it feels. But I agree with some folks here that this thing is so nice and feels great in hand that its meant to go bare.

Plus if you're like me, I sit 8 hours in a cubicle with carpet all day and carry a man purse :P

I worked with fragile glass vacuum system for years, also dealing with very precise work a lot, I haven't drop my phones before, hopefully won't drop this one neither.

on GN3

I was using a temp case but it's too bulky. It feels and looks better naked.
I just try to be real careful with it at work.

I am naked so far. But might add the case with kickstand and holster that Verizon sells. It doesn't add much bulk. Or maybe an S view cover.

I'm naked (white) at the moment. Any recommendations on a good case with kickstand?

I didn't have a case for the first five days that I had the Note 3 because I was waiting on the one to come from Amazon. I did enjoy using the device without a case, but when the case came from Amazon I put it on immediately. I have since switched to an S View Cover. I always use cases for my phones and don't have a big desire to change this right now. Plus, using the S View cover gets rid of the carrier logo on my phone, and that's always a plus for me.

I bought a cheap case on Amazon, hated it. Bought the s-view today at the at&t store and it is great. It's like not having a case at all. The fit and finish is perfect. It's pricey but worth it.

Does the cover get in the way, can you fold it back behind the phone while using it?

Also does it support wireless charging?

I stopped using screen covers when I first got my nexus 4. I've always been careful with my phones and I never have them for too long.

Same here. They were too much trouble for me to install without dust underneath for the little (if any) benefit that they offered. I also had to research quite a bit to find screen protectors that didn't degrade the display quality.

I like the size and weight of the Note 3 right out of the box. I received my Spigen Neo Hybrid Case and installed it and to me it immediately made the phone look and feel bulky. I decided to just put a screen protector on it and i keep it in a microfiber sunglasses bag while in my pocket to protect it from little nicks and scratches. I have ordered a thin bumper that will go around the edge but its coming from China so i wont see it for 2 weeks. Loving my Note!

I'm running with just a screen protector right now. The Verizon rep tried to get me to put a case on it, but I really like how slick the back of the device looks, so I am just going caseless until I get a hold of the S-view.

Totally naked right now. Will probably add a screen protector soon. Had a beautiful Steinheil on my GS2 that still looks new. Doubt I'll do a case.

You're all so brave ;=) I always use a screen protector and case. Case for the reasons that are obvious and also because I find devices too slippery/thin naked. I have a supcase folio for my Nexus 7 2013 and use the VZW silicone case and their screen protectors while I await the delivery of my Steinheil Ultra Crystal. I started to use my Droid X w/o a screen protector when I figured what the heck as I was stuck with it and then luckily I sold it on Amazon. Good thing I did not damage it before that happened. I am basically a chicken when it comes to tech as I cannot afford to buy new phones off contract etc as many seem to do on forums like this. I figure I will have this 2 years and want it to last and be saleable in a couple of years. I also carry insurance, which I know many do not, as again I just do not want to face the phone with a cracked screen.

Dorothy, you're a gal after my own heart. I have the Spigel Steinhell Ultra Crystal and I like that it covers the whole screen. I find it a bit slippery but I will deal with it if it means the screen won't scratch from my keys or something.

I do carry insurance as well....was against it until I lost my phone...had to pull a Jedi-Mind trick to get a "newish" Droid Charge to replace the phone I lost and then had Verizon put the insurance on...but at least I'm protected. The wife has always had just extended warranty as she's always home, and that's always served us well.

Just know that at least there's one other "chicken" in regards to phones (not so much in everything else. :D )

I normally love naked phones... And the Note 3 is no exception... BUT I am getting a Spigen case. Mainly because this screen is amazing and I want the kickstand :D.

I planned to go without a case, and then I looked at my 27 month old Motorola Photon I'm retiring. It was in a cheap TPU case from day one and out of the case, it still looks brand new.

My plan is to keep the Note 3 for a long time, so I went with this TPU case.
