Who's going to buy a Galaxy S5?

I am on it once AT&T announces the date. Now I won't make the mistake I did once before with pre-ordering before moving over to a carrier. That resulted in them charging me for the 2 weeks the temp phone #'s were active but clearly unusable. No thanks, I will just walk in and buy it on launch day.

Yep, I'm with you. I never pre-order my devices. I walk-in and buy on release day. I do get a kick out the people having aneurysms when their devices to show up on time. Or their credit card has an issue, etc....

From what I've read and understand about the Google and Samsung 10 year deal.....one of the things that Google wants Samsung to stop doing is the heavy overlays on Android OS with TW so Samsung will 'POSSIBLY' (more than likely and I use the term loosely) be easing up on completely changing Android with TW. We may be possibly seeing a TW that is much closer to vanilla Android. I can't wait to see it myself!

People keep saying this, but I don't believe it's actually been confirmed what their agreement is about, outside of the patents.

If I'm not mistaken, this has been pure speculation from journalists.

I'm not quite sure since I've read it in various sites but you could be right! At this point, I'm just hopeful that we'll be getting good things from them.

I will believe it once I see it. The magazine UI on the tabs is a little lighter but still seems to cause some lag from early reviews. I hope they do tone down TW because that is about the only complaint I have with samsung.
