Got mine at Sprint corporate store on launch day and I've had zero problems so far. I'm sure that's the case for most users.

Obviously, the people with problems are going to make more noise, as well they should.

So far the EVO defects have been extremely low at our local stores. The few that they are getting back are people just doing the 30 day return.

Bought mine on launch day and no problems so far, except for two: the signal strength where I live sux, so I can't use the EVO to its fullest potential, and I've been getting prompts to choose either the Android launcher or the Sense launcher, even after I set the Sense launcher to be the default. That's a weird one and I'm not the only user to see it. But it's merely annoying...
