Of course he does That sounded like it was straight out of the mouth of an Android fanboy. Those "myths" about iOS are not myths - I've experienced them first hand.

I sure considered it after spending a year and a half with a 1st gen moto x. The iphone 6 is a nice phone and all but i prefer to walk a bit out of step.

I have to be honest.
I was in the same "hate towards apple" boat until I got an iPad mini 2 ant a month ago (I actually wanted a Z2 tablet), and my conclusion is that even with all the restrictions it's a great device.

I wont ever change my Moto X for an iPhone, but as a media consumer device / web browsing tool I found my iPad quite useful.

Either way, both ecosystems have their pros and cons (I still prefer android by a long run), and both satisfy different user needs.

Greetings!
Vann

i'd go for iphone 6 anytime especially if it's for free lol

I would too if it was free, then sell it as fast as I possibly can without even using it. I would bank the proceeds till next spring when the next HTC flagship phone comes out............ Lol

I did and for a few days. Enjoyed the iPhone 6 Plus, but came back to the Note 4. Not that the iPhone 6 Plus was a bad smartphone at all. I just liked the features of the Note 4 better. I have always made that mistake of defecting from my Note smartphones and I always regret it. I'm not going to make the same mistake this time.

If you didn't switch to IOS because of the Iphone 4/5, why would somebody switch because of the Iphone 6?
The changes seem relatively small, and doesn't seem to be anything that hasn't changed with the android phones either.

I'm going to take my turbo back and try out the iPhone 6. I've had I phones before and somewhat miss them. Usually switch off between android and iOS until I get bored of one and go to another

I totally understand how it works...when Apple is in the lead, it is really important. When Apple is not in the lead, marketshare doesn't matter anymore.

Engadget seems to have made it's choice as well.

This story is pretty common. People who choose iPhone do so because of the myths surrounding is supposed usability and polish. Once they actually try an Android device, they get a more balanced view without the whitwashing from Apple's marketing dept.

Or, you know, some may LIKE IT BETTER.

I went back to iPhone after several flagship androids. I've owned iPhone 4, 5, 5S and 6+. I've owned GS Vibrant, GS3, GS4, Optimus G, HTC One M7 and M8, and OnePlus One...and I go back to iOS because it works best for me. I don't like Samsung. I don't like the fragmentation of Android for updates. I don't like looking for fixes to issues I've run into only on Android phones. It has nothing to do with whitewashing. Perhaps you could drop the condescension and realize that not everyone has to adore Android? I certainly don't think everyone should adore iOS. People are capable of deciding for themselves and still not prefer Android, regardless of your opinion that if we don't prefer Android we are mindless idiots.

Sometimes AC amazes me with the attitude towards other OS users. Truly. It's too bad I'm stuck with a GS5 from work that I come here for trying to find remedies to various issues I have with it that I can't fix by rooting and getting rid of Touchwiz, which is what I'd like to do but IT won't allow it.

Why is it so hard for some of you to realize that people can use flagship Android and still not prefer it to other OS devices?
