Who's not considering the V30?

Cause the Mate 9 exist, i've used this phone for half a year, and it offers phenomenal battery combined with big screen, lagfree performance and great rear n front cameras, it still something that missing with all new phones, oh and it got IR blaster and stereo speakers, for me it's important mainly the awesome battery.

Would liie like to buy the v30, but it's too small, average battery, poor selfie, average speaker, no IR blaster which i use, and mainly the battery... Even though the DAC is temping to me, i have external DAC Fiio K1, which does the job

I'm really only looking for posters who are not likely to buy this phone.

If it's a no for you, please post in my other thread.

"Who's seriously considering the V30?"
I'm not. Because I feel the V30 is what the G6 should have been from the beginning. It's like if the S8 had the SD821, and then the note 8 came with the SD835.

Having just bought the G6 3 months ago gonna stick it out for a bit, but if anything I'll jump ship to the Note 8. Less curved screen than S8, 6gb ram, 64 gb storage, and best display on the market, per independent testers

It's great to have choices

Not a fan of 18x9, since 6" since too thin portrait mode for me.

Wish LG went flat and 16x9 with thin bezel.

I can't disagree except it might be more comfortable to hold for some. I've gotten used to the V20 size.

I was hoping for Oreo (kind of like Nougat on the V20). Still unsure if will get it though - may go with the Pixel 2.

I'm not. The V30 is what the LG G6 should have been. I'm not impressed with it.

I can't wait to get my Note 8.

Note 8 for me based on better looking hardware and software and of course the spen. Maybe someday LG will learn how to properly launch a phone instead of "here's our new phone, now wait for more information."

My note 8 will be delivered before V30 customers will even know when they can preorder

The reveal of the Kirin 970 and Mi Mix 2, making it easier to skip the V30 all together

I'm on the fence with this one, I know my V20 can last very long and hold me off until the V40 or V50. All of my FAVORITE features from the V20 did not make a comeback in the V30, so I'm trying to stay away from the hype. Hype is the one tugging at my shirt. The 5MP front camera is also a disappointment, as well as only 4GB of RAM in the US model. Oh and the curves as well, gonna have to experiment with hundreds of screen protectors before finding one that's satisfactory. Still, the V30 remains one of my top picks out of every other phones.

I can totally see why a lot of V20 owners want to keep their phones. It has a lot to offer. The V30 does look like it's shaping up to be a true powerhouse. It'll be interesting to see real life performance videos when they start coming out.

I bought my V20 as a result of the Note 7 recall. So, I have pre-ordered the Note 8. Thanks to the Samsung trade in deal for former Note 7 owners, I bought a used G4 to trade in and will keep my V20. Win-win for me.

Ouch. That's bad.
Nice man was just about to post that article too

Yeah hopefully it's Bec of preproduction model. But everyone is going bonkers over this new P-OLED screen. Everyone seems to keep forgetting the G Flex and G Flex 2 had one too and were simply terrible

And I'm not bashing LG, I have their G6 but starting to be underwhelmed with it. Pushing the previous apps causes a 1-2 second delay before all the previous app cards comes up. Wasn't like this before

No other reviewer mentioned it and I couldn't see that uniformity issue on any other photo of the V30 with a dark screen. So at the moment I'm still optimistic that it's just because he uses a pre-production unit.
