Who's not considering the V30?

I'm sticking with my 1 month old G6. It's been working great for me all around, so no need to upgrade again so soon.

I'll pop by TMobile and take a look, but I'll probably stick with my S8 and see what the G7 has in store. I do miss LG's interpretation of Android. Even after a couple of factory resets I still see some software jank from time to time. It's my first Samsung device after years with LG. I like the S8 otherwise.

I am ordering the Note 8 this time. I don't trust LG after them having boot loop issues on the V10 and V20.

Will keep my v20 , the v30 looks nice but I was hoping for a web OS interface make over.

I'll check it out, but I have no interest in getting one. I picked up my S8+ 3-4 months ago & it's still working great

I am getting a Note 8. Main reason, I use my SPen for taking notes in meetings. The handwriting recognition is really good. My needs and usage are personal. I personally think the V30 looks like a great phone. If you are big into multimedia the V30 looks like the perfect phone.

Last year I was very impressed by the V20. I am still surprised it was not a big seller. I have toyed with the idea of getting a used V20 just for fun. I may still if the prices keep falling.

Your misinformed. It is. That's why it's part of the lawsuit. I owned one and had the issue and so did many on the v20 forum.

Before you call someone misinformed make sure you know what you're talking about. It might be you who is misinformed.
I took the survey and it was totally meaningless. They added the V20 & G5 to build credence to the class action with very little evidence. Anyone can institute a class action.... Doesn't mean its totally legit. When the Nexus 5X started8 bootlooping after an update for totally unrelated reasons every started saying "see another LG bootloop issue".....wrong because Nexus 6p had the same issue. As for your claim that you had one, I don't know, but where is this V20 forum with all the bootloops?

Seriously you'll have to do better than that. The first deals with a specific one that we know about here at AC. The rest are mostly articles I've seen before and much of it speculative. The last one just talks about the class action suit which again is mostly bull.
Not one link referencing an actual confirmation of a systemic issue with either the G5 or V20.
It's actually funny that anyone would believe that any company producing phones with an issue would let if keep continuing in most after model.

I'd like to see this thread get back on topic... Who's not considering the V30?

no interest from me... my V10 still runs great. The V20 has the features I am looking for. removable battery, IR blaster, secondary display, non glass back.

PS... I have a wireless charging case back on my V10, and imho its nothing to get excited over. Wireless charging in general generates heat and charges slow.

Really like V30's design and the wide angle camera. But battery life is a big concern for LG phones
