I was waiting to see if by chance they had a change of heart when it came to the BT SPen but sadly they did not. I'm just not feeling $500 for a new screen and __?___, not much else really.

For anyone looking for deals, Verizon is offering some interesting deals if you're willing to get a carrier phone. To get it free I would have to pay an extra $1 a month and lose the Hulu/Disney/ESPN package I get with my current package.

I went to Samsung.com I am not doing a trade in because I want to keep my S24 ultra. I liked it so pulled the trigger for purple S26 ultra and tried to sign out with PayPal and kept getting errors on Samsung side. So when that didn't work I ordered my with my card no problem order went through.Cool. Then I look today at my PayPal and there were pending orders for samsung even though Samsung had no orders with PayPal. What a mess. So I call PayPal they say no worries when Samsung order doesn't come through they'll fall off. SO I have a violet phone coming. Hope I like it.

Feel absolutely insane. I know I pre-ordered but can't find an email anywhere confirmed or find it on Samsungs site. I put my normal email address in but I'm wondering if they tried to send a confirmation email to my old work email. I set it up to pay via Samsung with Affirm but that doesn't even act like I've done anything. WTF??
So do I try to set up a "new" Samsung account??

I used affirm and on the affirm app it shows Samsung order, says in processing or something. If it isn't in affirm app I would contact Samsung.

I did. They didn't see an order at all. Honestly thats fine, they kept sending emails to my work email that no longer exists. Had to create a new Samsung account so I lost all my old order info and points which were very few so didn't worry about that. Now I have confirmation from email personal & affirm and shows on Samsung as pre order. However I got 80.00 of credit for shopping instead of 30.00. Did i lose my 50.00 discount I used to get? Yes. Am I sad? Also yes lol

I finally pre-ordered the violet S26U w/ 1TB, for essential $556, so it's a win for me in spite of the mid offerings.

By the time I ordered, Rakuten was back to 3% cash back (blah), but Captial One was offering a $270 cash back if you spend more than $400, so I picked that deal. That plus the $30 reservation, plus the $50 PayPal deal, and $900 trade in deal, brings the S26U down to something I can be ok with.

This is mildy infuriating. I first saw this on Reddit and then checked myself... Sigh... If you don't have a phone to trade in, you can get free double storage PLUS a usd200 Amazon gift card. I say only if you don't have a phone to trade in because if you do - the trade in values through Amazon is like half or less than what you would get from Amazon. So I guess, it almost comes out in a wash, but still..............

I was hoping Samsung would finally offer a 2TB option (or at least a microSD slot - yea I know wishful thinking) and bring back the BLE feature to the S-pen.

Whenever I take group shots, the BLE connection makes it convenient to use with the other hand since the way I hold the phone, my fingernail ends up hitting the shutter and doesn't easily register.

When I first heard of the privacy display, I knew there would be some level of compromising. Maybe it's something that isn't really noticeable when in isolation and not next to another phone, I guess we'll see in person.

I priced in the S24U trade-in during checkout, since there's nothing to lose. If I end up hating the S26U, I'll just return the new phone. If I'm impressed with the S26U, I'll send them the S24U. If I like them both and can't decide, I'll keep them both lol and have them charge back the difference. I went this route with the Note 10+ since that's the last phone I really liked and made it my backup phone heh.

Fold 7 showed up for trade in yesterday at 900 so I went for it. Got a 512 silver and buds 4 pros for just over $500 so I think that is ok. Sold my buds3 yesterday to make room for the new stuff lol.

I know I'll miss the large screen when the fold is open because I use it alot, but the battery life for me has been very poor. I have to charge 3 times a day and I really don't use it a ton. Could be a rogue app or something, but I'm definitely interested in the 26 and the camera as well.

Today's CapitalOne daily bonus offer for Samsung is $80 back if you spend $100. So i might buy the buds pro to take advantage.

It's crazy how the deals come and go over a few days. The Fold 7 wasn't initially available for trade-in, but it is now. When I pre-ordered, I got $150 off the Buds 4; now that deal is gone, and it's only 10% off.

The Samsung $150 credit for no trade in is for accessories, it doesn't come off the price of the phone.

I figured Verizon would have some good carrier deals. I always buy unlocked and I just like to pay the difference and own my phone out right. But I have a friend with T-Mobile her and her husband keep their phones a long time they're still on s21 Ultras so she's really excited to get a new phone and they're getting $1100 a piece and then they pay the difference for 2 years. But if you keep your phones that's a good deal.
