Who's ordering?

When I go to check out it gives me the option to have it shipped to my house since my local Best Buy is temporarily closed. How does that work then?
I've only done store trade in but if you pick shipping they will email you instructions after it's delivered. I personally like to do it in person with BB but if you don't have one close then you would have to do mail.

What does everyone think of Google shifting the Pixel releases earlier? I'm all for it. I think it gives it some room in the spotlight before the new iPhones, and creates more space between launch and Black Friday/Holiday deals.

I don't even mind getting a stable Android 14 out of the box before updating to 15 shortly after. At this point, with 7 years of updates, it's basically a worry-free thing -- I know, for myself, I'll be upgrading long before I hit 7 years, so updates are basically worry-free at this point. So bring on 15 when it's QC-ed and ready. Stable 14 out of box is fine.

Really looking forward to my pre-order. We get to play with the devices earlier! That's always a treat. (Can't wait to check out the Pixel Fold at a Google store, too, honestly. )

I like it, early bday present for me. I use to get the Note every August for a birthday present but now I get a Pixel, I'm good 😊

How does that work? Best Buy will give me $1099 for my iPhone 14 Pro and $999 for my Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus. Does the mean whatever phone I choose to trade in that's what they will take off the price of the Pixel 9 Pro XL? Plus taxes of course. Also this is for the unlocked model.
I am trading my 7Pro for the 9ProXL. From what I remember, I take my device into BB and they do the evaluation right then and there (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I'm picking it up since FedEx and UPS suck where I live and I don't trust I'll get it.

I'm certainly hesitant to try it since it uses Gemini. My experience with it on my Pixel 8 was not a good experience. I wonder if it's really ready for prime time? I was also thinking about the Pixel Buds Pro 2, but I understand they are using Gemini as well.

I haven't had any issues using Gemini on my 8Pro. What bad experience did you have?

Just a heads up to those waiting on ordering it seems like bestbuy has lowered some of the trade-ins. On ones they were giving 1099 on like the iphone 14 pro and up, galaxy S23 ultra and up those trade-ins values have decreased tremendously. Even though it still says up to 1099 I haven't found a device to qualify.

I bet I could get a lot of money for this new Pixel 8 Pro look what are you guys think?

If you're getting the Pixel 9 Pro you really going to like the way it feels in hand and I'm sure it's going to pocket nicely they actually both feel really good to hold I don't know how the phone would be with the camera bump for those that want to go without a case though

yeah...if you have a 15 PM then you will love love the P9P XL. They both share a lot of external design features. That is a very good thing IMHO....

Just for fun, I checked the trade in prices today. I was impressed. The website said they would give me $700 trade in credit for my phone. I have P8P 256 gigs.
same for the 128GB I got my daughter last year so I gave her an upgrade to the P9 Pro. She picked a Pink and it only came in 256 Gb only after I ordered it did she say she sorry to make me pay extra for the color...Especially since we just cover our phones up with a case...
