Who's seriously considering the V30?

Your a funny guy, lead the thread by asking who's buying and then ending it for those that are not. O.o

I am considering one because l like the V30 design and wide angle camera. Also, HD dac is lovely feature!

I'm thinking about it. If the battery life and software updates for the US unlocked are good, I will go past thinking to thinking.

What?.... I'm no longer funny?
Lol.. Yes I'm excited about the LGv30! Smaller phone yet with a larger screen than the v20! Quad DAC! 1.6 aperture lens! Water resistance with gorilla glass 4! A freakn headphone jack!!! Amoled DISPLAY!! METAL AND GLASS BODY. Dude.

I thought it was GG5 or at least the back.
In addition to what you mention, I'm liking that the main camera didn't drop in megapixel and the wide is 13 with a decent aperture. Also like that new zoom feature where you can pick the subject to zoom in on.
I'm also hoping that B&O tuning will be included in the US.

B&O headphones included would be the cats meow!!

I was referring to the DAC. On the V20 the US models didn't come with B&O tuning. The pre-order included their headphones. I'm hoping for Google Daydream included.

I am. Waiting for reviews, and I'm not ready until October anyways. By then the Pixel 2 XL might have more details available.

64GB standard and wireless charging. not to mention 600mhz so I'm going to use this opportunity to switch from VZW to T-Mo.

I'm looking at the V30, Galaxy Note 8, and possibly the Pixel XL 2 when it comes out. The V30 because I own a V20 and for the most part have had no issues with it, it has some camera improvements that I would definitely welcome, water resistance, bigger screen, smaller body and the Snapdragon 835. Note 8 because I have owned a couple Samsung's and know they are good devices in my experience, dual cameras finally in their phones, S-Pen (which I would use,) curved screen with the edge features and the Iris scanner. The Pixel XL 2 because of the stock Android, I trust Google and I want to see what it has to offer this year.

No suprise here... I'm going to pick one up. As always I'm very curious how the camera will stack up in a concert environment. I certainly feel like the still camera and video camera continue to move in the right direction. Not too long ago I went to see one of my favorite bands and they asked the fans to submit any videos they might have taken. I sent one in of a song I recorded using the v20 and the band actually got back to me and said it was the best video of all the ones that were sent in.

Chances are this'll be my next. To many plusses for me to over look. I don't pre-order so I'll get a look at the Pixel XL2 before I buy but the V30 is looking very enticing.

Everyone should wait a month or two for several reasons. One is that the V30 will probably be half price in a month or two like the G6 was. The second is that the Pixel XL 2 is likely to have the Snapdragon 836 instead of 835.

Wholeheartedly agree. I got an amazing deal on my daughter's G6 waiting just 2 weeks.

As far as the 835 vs 836 I doubt you'll notice a difference.
