Who's seriously considering the V30?

It's always so interesting to me that people want FM radio in their phones. I don't even use it in my car. I really can't stand the radio. Too many ads. I usually use satellite radio, and I've never had a problem with data usage from streaming services. You can always cache music as well.

Me too. My Zune had a digital FM tuner. Digital FM was interesting, but far too little, far too late. I don't think we have local FM radio here anymore, but if you still had a good local college radio station then it might be a nice bonus.

Quick answer......fast system updates straight from Google.

Huge concern, would be nice if LG would step their game up in this department. I'll wait until they actually launch, but I'll definitely want a definitive, unambiguous statement regarding Oreo availability before I'd pay up for this phone.

It seems to be a difference between Europe and the US. I'm living in a european capital and there are still a lot of FM radio stations. Maybe 20 - 30 ... never counted them.

It's not just LG, the carriers play a role in slowing updates too. While I would like Oreo on the V30, and I'm sure it will happen, not too disappointed it won't be on the release.

When the V20 was released with N, it was still pretty buggy so I'm OK to wait and get a stable release of Oreo.

We actually have a lot of stations where I live here in the US. Just don't want to listen to ads
So that's a def No for the XL2 for me and anyone else who cares for that! Can anyone tell me why even compare this to the V30?!?! Makes no sense!
Definitely the updates. I mean if you've got 128gb, most people probably don't need an SD card. I'm interested to see how the V30 and the Pixel XL match up.

I'm on the fence V30 or Note8 thing of it is with the V30 we don't know the price or when it will be available.with the note we know the price and pre order is shipping.think LG blew a fart with this introduction with no pricing or availability date.

The V30 is about 750 U.S.

I'm really only looking for posters who are likely to buy this phone.

If it's a no for you, please post in my other thread.

I'm definitely considering the v30. First, it'll have the new Quad, 32bit dac. It's suppose to be amazing. Then the 600mhz spectrum will be great as I jyst changed all 4 of my lines from Verizon to tmobile after 25 years with big red. Then you have a bug screen phone, but smaller than the V20 in size due to less bezels. I'm dying to try it out.

I am highly considering, only because I was very impressed and satisfied with the V20, first time ever actually wanting to keep a phone for good. I'm only interested in the camera upgrade as well as the more efficient SD 835. The V20 will still be useful for me mainly because of the removable battery, but the camera experience isn't all that great for me. Every flagship from now on, without removable batteries, are considered throw away phones for me, trashed after 2 years if the battery can't hold a charge anymore.
