I've got to admit.....I'm watching the stream.....and I am definitely impressed. I just might, and I mean might......have to hold out for the SGS3. Surely I can't be alone on this, LOL?

Nope not really all that impressed, Evo will have better screen and has the camera button, and that watching thing kinda creeps me out lol

Im thinking about it too. Think I wait till all the hands on videos and reviews come in.

I was somewhat underwhelmed. The LTE has the better screen and quite possibly camera. Since the US version will also have the S4 and very similar sized battery, performance/battery life will be a wash.

I have the Evo 4g now, love it! My daughter has had several Samsung phones and always has a problem with them. I will wait and get her, my wife, and myself the new Evo LTE........

I'm not waiting on the S3, I'm going with the new Evo. The US version is expected sometime in the summer, and who knows if Sprint will have it or not (probably will).

I waited what seemed an eternity for the GN and I've been underwhelmed with the reviews. The new Evo fits me better, and I'm not waiting months more.

I think I'm sticking with the HTC myself. It will be out sooner for Sprint, and usually Verizon gets Samsung devices for some time before anyone else in the USA.

I said I wouldn't jump on the "next great phone" bandwagon....so let me rephrase my earlier post, LOL. I still plan on getting the new EVO. The SGS3 might be an "add a line" phone though. Still need to hear about battery life, GPS, and carrier info first and foremost.

I have to say these phones stock up pretty close to one another.

Now I think the SIII is better then the International One X.

But the Sprint version they are pretty close.

I think it will come down to software preference. The internals will most likely be pretty similiar.

The pentile screen on the S3 is a dealbreaker. Thanks for making this an easy decision Samsung!

With the exception of a removeable battery and the option for 16, 32 or 64GB model (exclusive of the microSD slot) I think the new EVO wins. Except that the GS3 looks beautiful.

I suppose I'll wait until I can grope both of them, but I generally like the HTC build more than the Sammy so this GS3 will have to really impress me. It is a great looking device though.

Samsung Galaxy S III coming to Sprint, sources say | The Verge

the verge confirmed sprint will get it. i think the phone will look very different when it actually comes to sprint. just look at the s1(w/ keyboard), and s2(4.5 vs 4.3 international). even the evo itself is very different from the international version. most likely sprint will change different parts of the hardware of the phone.

Removable battery, SIM and micro SD. Both devices have great features, but simply being able to remove/replace the battery could swing things in the SIII's favor. Hopefully, the 2100 mAh is enough to keep the SIII going for a full day of fairly heavy use. But, if not, I'm sure Seidio and others will have something available to help with the situation very soon. Carrying a charger around in my pocket isn't very comfortable. I think HTC dropped the ball on that issue. Too bad.

Seems like Sammy still has that plastic casing......and now that I have looked the articles over, it seems like they concentrated more on the software than the hardware. It almost has a iPhone-type vibe about it.

HTC EVO LTE will definitely be my main phone!!!

The camera and Super LCD 2 screen on the EVO 4G LTE is hard to pass up, so no SGSIII for me.

The only advantage the US S3 has over the E4GLTE is the removable battery. It loses on screen, camera, and release date.

I have an og Evo and have never had a spare battery, so the removable battery does nothing for me. I do like S3 had a slightly bigger battery.

Sticking to the Evo 4G LTE, myself...

SGSIII doesnt necessarily blow it out of the water... It'll come down to interface, and the Evo 4G LTE wins in that department, plus, I'm a sucker for an incredible camera!

Evo 4G LTE also comes out REALLY soon, Sprints iteration of the SGS3 probably won't land until Aug-Nov timeframe... Don't wanna wait that long.

The new TouchWiz has a lot more features compared to Sense 4. Really I can't think of any new features in Sense 4 other than the camera software.
