Why am I having Whatsapp faillure and why is my time and date incorrect?

whatsapp faillure, date incorrect

It's for the first time that i have a smartphone, Alcatel ot idol mini 6012.
When i tried to start up WhatsApp there was an anouncement that the date was incorrect and that i had to change it.
But time and date are correct on my Phone.
Can you please tell me what's wrong.

Not sure since I'm not familiar with your device or WhatsApp.
Uninstall the WhatsApp application, restart the device and than install the app again.
