Why am I unable to copy files from my computer to my Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Duos?

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Duos: File Transfer Problem

Whenever I copy files from my computer to my Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Duos, it suddenly stops at the end so the file transfer will be aborted and the file won't be transferred.

I have an Android Kitkat 4.4.2 on my phone. I've already tried flashing the firmware, and resetting the phone. Another thing, my phone always present a blue screen then finally restarts. Please, help!

Welcome to Android Central! Are you connecting via USB? Are you copying the file using the computer's file explorer? What kind of file are you copying, and how big is it? Have you tried copying the file wirelessly using something like AirDroid or Wifi File Explorer?

Yes, I'm connecting via USB and copying files using my computer's file explorer. Small files like .JPEG and large files like .AVI fail to copy. I tried copying files one by one and it still fails. I want to transfer files to my phone using a wired connection because some files might not transfer completely (might be corrupted) via wireless connection. Help! Thanks for your reply!

What makes you think the files might not transfer completely wirelessly? In my experience, it works pretty well, and so far, your attempts using a cable haven't been too successful either!

You should also try a different cable. USB cables can fail unexpectedly, and that could cause problems with data transfer.

I had a similar issue with my nexus 5 once. For me it worked to use adb (after activating developer settings and installing adb drivers). With adb you can "push" and "pull" (-> transfer) files between your computer and the smartphone from your commandline. More info just google for "adb push pull" ... I am not yet allowed to give you useful links ...
