Why am I unable to use some apps to my SD card on my LG Optimus Dynamic II (LG L39C)?

LG Optimus Dynamic II (LG L39C) - Can't move some apps to SD card

To save on internal phone storage/memory, there are some downloaded apps I want to move from internal memory to SD card memory. I followed the LG L39C tutorial on how to get to "Apps" in "System Settings" and then found the "Move to SD Card" button on each of my downloaded apps. However, on some, but not all,downloaded apps (and all of the basic apps that came with the phone) that "Move to SD Card" icon button is there but isn't functional (i.e., won't let me move the app). Is there some other way to move a downloaded app from phone memory to SD card memory, perhaps using some form of folder management technique? It doesn't make sense that the phone will allow me to move some downloaded apps to SD card memory but not others.

Welcome to Android Central! Not all apps can be moved to the SD--it presumably has something to do with how the app is coded. Remember that moving an app to SD does not move the whole app there--only a portion of it. You might be able to do it if you root the phone.
