Why are all of the options for my screen lock are grayed out?

All of the options for my screen lock are grayed out

All of the options for my screen lock are grayed out except PIN and password, the rest say "turned off by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage. on Galaxy S3

Welcome to the forums. Samsung most likely turned off those features when they created the ROM. The first step in possibly enabling them would be to root the device, but even then, there is no guarantee.
