Why are none available?

Thx, I checked them out (ATT) and all they offer is LTE which I don't want (heavier and shorter battery life than Bluetooth version).

You can disable mobile networks on the watch. Once that is done, it operates the same exact way as the Bluetooth version, so I don't think your claim about battery life is true. I'm on over 2 days with 50% left. Weight wise, lol, really, come on.

Same here. On bluetooth, I can go more than 4 days non stop without charging. When the watch switches to standalone and turns on the LTE when out of bluetooth range, it has only been using about 2-4% of the battery per hour. The added LTE radio has not made the watch heavier that I can notice. Even if someone does not want the added LTE due to the monthly fees, it never hurts to have should you change your mind later and have it activated with a carrier. I prefer it because I like how well the NumberSync with AT&T has been working thus far.

Haha yeah i know, good points. I could have picked one up from ATT this weekend, but I needed a reason not to lol.

Then there's still the ever present scratching issue which is my real reason for not jumping on it.

Well Best Buy, ATT and Samsung dont seem to want to sell this piece of **** so I guess I'll pass this year and wait for a device from a company that actually wants to sell their ****. Fun times.

I'm still waiting on one too. Waiting on Verizon though. I figure it would be nice to have LTE

Every one of the places I went to wanted me to place an order with them. I told them all no. I want to walk out with it in my hand. I refuse to order and wait.

I did that with my S6 and it pissed me off. I won't do that again.

If a company really wants to sell their junk they'll have it available in stores.

Manufactured scarcity is plaguing electronics now. I'm fine with waiting, but with as many avenues with which to purchase things these days...Why is everything only available for triple price on eBay?

I know the feeling... T-Mobile coverage doesn't work for me so I'm paying AT&T 10x what Verizon would charge me for a wearable line. The day Verizon starts carrying it, there'll be a used S3 765A for sale on Craigslist.

Funny story that just happened to me about 5 minutes ago.

Went to the closest Best Buy because my wife insisted they had some S3's showing on their online store available in store. She says it says they are in stock, go to the store and check. So as a good husband I did as I was told lol. Nobody from Best Buy wanted to help me (first time ever I wasn't mobbed as soon as I walked in).

When I finally got someone they told me the Samsung people don't even work on Wednesdays... I'm like OK.... Can you sell me a Samsung device? The chick said yes and asked what I was looking for. I told her, Gear S3 Frontier, she goes and looks in her computer and days they don't have any nor any Classics and goes on to state,"and we cannot order any"... I didn't even ask about ordering. I just found that extra comment very strange.

I wonder if Samsung is not making these anymore or there's a problem or something. I'm beginning to really lost faith in Sammy... So disappointed lately with them.

They went on sale that Sunday and I ordered online for in-store pickup. When I went to pick it up, they didnt have it with the regular online orders, someone brought it up to the front.

I just checked stock and it currently isnt available within 250 miles, though, everyday they pop in and out of stock at various locations. The Samsung rep did say that they sell as fast as they come in. Production must be very limited.

I found one at best buy last week(Lubbock, Tx). I was using a Gift card to pick up the Level U Pro ANC Bluetooth headphones. I asked if they had any Gear S3 in stock and she said three. She proceeds to open the cage and there is only one. It was an open box buy for $275. Samsung rep said it was opened in the store by staff so I bought it. First smart watch and I'm happy with it. So even the in store computers are wrong about stock.
