Good luck with that. I ordered one thru Samsung over a month ago. Amazon order already came. Samsung never even updated the status. Figure if I get the Samsung order I'll sell it. Paid $299.

I think you better rethink that idea. Ordering directly from Samsung is the worst mistake you'll ever make. read this thread here and you'll change your mind.

I ordered from Samsung.com on Monday. Said will ship in 1-3 days and I even paid for over night shipping. Got an email said order processed. Only to get a email 8 hrs later it was on back order. I ended up calling AT&T and ordered it from them. Should have it tomorrow

I won't be ordering from Samsung or anyone else. While I really like the watch from my times playing with them at Best Buy, since they aren't available to buy in any store I'm going to now wait until Android Wear 2.0 drops to see what Google's new watches are like.

I don't have much confidence in them though if they are anything like the Pixels (expensive garbage). Losing confidence in Google in general lately.

I think it's always best to order from the carriers, Best Buy or Amazon. The manufacturers are committed to supply them first, especially the carriers. Rarely will an individual order to the manufacturer be treated with the same urgency as they are to carriers or retail outlets. Volume is key.

Manufactured scarcity is plaguing electronics now. I'm fine with waiting, but with as many avenues with which to purchase things these days...Why is everything only available for triple price on eBay?

Some Best Buy locations have them in stock. There also available at AT&T and T-Mobile stores. Even where they're not in stock, they can be ordered and delivered within a few days.

If anyone is interested, I'm selling my Gear S3 Frontier. I just got it yesterday. I exchanged my Nixon for it. I'd rather stick with Androiwear. Anyways, it's posted in the Marketplace.

I work at BB and I can tell u that as soon as we get S3's in, they are sold within hours. Our system will not let us order one for the customer either. Supply is just so limited.
