Why are there clouds going across my screen?

Every once in a while, I get clouds running across screens on my Dinc.
I don't know what starts this but pressing any button will make them disappear.
These are the same clouds used in the HTC Weather app.

Its just part of the Weather widget. the animation changes depending on the weather conditions. It only lasts for a few seconds. The best is the thunderstorm animations. Lots of lightning flashes. It will show up everytime that you unlock your phone.

The only way to turn it off is to delete the widget and then re-add it to the homescreen, but deselect "full screen animation" (or something to that effect, anyway).

It was nifty for the first few weeks I had the phone. It soon got old (although the sunshine and clouds animations aren't as intrusive as the rain animation).

lol

There isn't an animation, but I like the weather display for fog. Big rolling fog banks surrounding an ominous all-caps

F O G

Like its rising up out of hell to eat you or something.

My favorite is the Snow :) .. it builds up in the corners like a window and has icicles hanging from the time

OMG you have a messed up screen. You may have some moister in there, if the wiper hasn't activated yet I would make sure you turn it on before something bad happen!!

It's part of the weather app/clock no worries!

I want to see snow but it never gets cold enough here in the ATL. They should make one that makes the screen look likes it melting for all the damn heat we've been getting.

Go into the program and run the demo, then you can see all the possible animations.

There are some pretty neat ones. It was like one of the most amazing things when I first got the phone. Then the novelty wore off, much like the live wallpapers. Was amazing though considering what I came from lol.

Sunny isn't in the demo... and it doesn't do the partly cloudy animation with clouds coming in from both sides. Huh.

I live in socal, I think my weather app gets sick of sunshine all the time and randomly changes to partly cloudy just so it can do a different animation. (Yes I believe all my electronics have personalities, including my Incredible)

But seriously. It can have my location correct with no clouds in the sky for days and show partly cloudy...
