Why can I not read my e mails on my Galaxy s?

When I go to Inbox on my Galaxy S the screen is blank,yet I know there is at least 25 e mails to read,

Welcome to Android Central! Do you really have the very old Galaxy S, or one of the more recent ones (e.g., S5, S6)?

Are you using the stock Email app? If so, try removing the email account from the app, then add it back again.
