Why can i not save or delete contacts on my new coolpad phone

Usually u can just add to contacts or create new it won't let me do either

Android phone not storing new contacts.

I recently purchased a Coolpad legacy Android phone. When I attempt to store new contacts I get an error message at the bottom of my screen stating "couldn't save contact changes." This happens even if I am trying to add a new contact and not change an old number.

Have you tried clearing cache,data,force stop the contact app?

My Coolpad Legacy has stopped allowing me to add new contact

My phone has stopped allowing me to add new contacts regardless of saving to Google account or sd card. How can I fix this or can I get rid of the phone/contact app and just install a different one from Google play

why won't my cool pad save new contacts and send text messages anymore

I cannot save any new contacts and when I try to send a text it won't send until the 2nd or 3rd attempt.

Who's your carrier? Is this sms and MMS messages

Also check at Google Contacts. Any contacts entered as Google contacts (they all should - just for this reason - losing them on the phone) should be there, so they're not lost. Sync contacts in Settings -> Accounts -> <your Google account> and you should have them back.
