Why can other person on call hear my phone sounds? How do I disable this?

[Android Central Question]

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy M10, and for some reason, the person whom I am talking to on call(While wearing earphones) can hear whatever sounds my phone makes, like notifications or youtube videos. No such problem occurs when earphones are not plugged in, but this earphone call issue is a real problem. It's not even been a whole day since I bought it, and I am facing this issue. I have tried multiple headsets, and have faced this issue in each of them.

Welcome to Android Central! Is the phone making those notification sounds through the main speaker while you're on the call using your headset? Or do you only hear the notification sounds through the headset as well?
