Why can't I access my private safe?

Whenever I try to open my private safe, it won't budge. I can't even save files in it. How can I open it without doing the hard reset?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? If you forgot the password/PIN you created for your private safe feature, then you typically have to do a factory reset to change it (which means you'll lose any data saved in it). This is why it's so important to remember your passwords.
