can't back up/copy very important user data from "call recorder" app!!! damaged file sytem?

i have an app called "call recorder by LoveKara" that has quite a lot of calls that i need but i can not find the actual files on the android file manager and i can not back them up to another phone using kies or smart switch or any other backup including helium. haven't tried rooting the phone as that is my last resort and don't really have the confidence or know

can you tell me how find and copy them/back them up please.
or as a last resort get some sort of image as you can do on a pc to restore later if need be.
thanks
god bless

It really depends on the app you're using. If the app saves the calls in 'normal' media files, you should be able to find them easily but if the app uses proprietary files or hides the folder, then you might need root to copy them. Problem is, once you do, restoring them might not be as easy as just copying/pasting the files into the app's folder. Again, it all depends on the app itself. I'd contact the dev and ask them about a back up option or how to do it specifically for their app.
