Why can't I change the date and time on my tablet?

I have a nuvision tablet tm800a620m Android 6.0 and I want to change date and time but it keeps saying "Unfortunately, settings has stopped" and settings disappears and goes back to the home screen.

Restart the phone. If that doesn't help, you may need to reflash the firmware. (If you don't want to risk it, bring it to a repair shop to have it done.)
