Why cant i get text messages from iphones on my new j5

Can receive text messages from other phones but not from iPhones on my new samsung j5

Welcome to Android Central! Did you ever have an iPhone yourself? If so, you might not have completely removed your phone number from the iMessage server. Contact Apple support about this.
