Why can't I hear people during phone calls but they can hear me?

why can't i hear people during phone calls but they can hear me?

I have the motorola moto g 2nd gen and for the past few days i haven't been able to hear people during phone calls, while they can hear me fine. i'm able to hear music and videos perfectly fine, but just not phone calls. what can i do to fix this problem?

Open system settings - applications - Sort by all - phone (or dialer app). Clear the cache and see if that helps.
