Why can't I receive email on my Galaxy SIII?

Can not receive email on my Galaxy SIII

I cannot receive emails o n my Galaxy S III. I can send emails and all the incoming and outgoing settings are correct. Verizon is the phone and Earthlink the email program. I tried to empty the cache on Verizon but cannot find Earthlink under the apps.

First, just to be clear youVerizon is not the name of the phone, it's your cellphone service provider. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy SIII.

Second, Earthlink is not the name of your email app *unless* you have installed the special Earthlink app from the Play store. If you had though, it would show up in the app's list. Otherwise, Earthlink is the name of your email service provider.

Very likely you're using the email app that came on the phone, probably simply called Email or Mail. Look for those in the app's list, clear the cache and try getting email again.
